Thoughtcast #19

Hey all, we hope everyone is doing well as we approach the end of another chaotic year. As December begins, we thought now would be a good time to fill you guys in on everything we know at the moment regarding the last three MTG releases of the year.

Our Australian MTG supplier has just received their stock of Brothers' War Bundles and Gift Bundles, which we expect to receive within 2 weeks, and are hoping to send out before Christmas.

As for the Warhammer 40K Commander restock, our supplier was told to expect to receive their second print wave at the end of November, but this does not appear to have happened. At this stage it is very unlikely that we will receive them in New Zealand before the New Year.

If you have pre-orders pending for any of the above products, we do appreciate that the long wait has been frustrating on top of the plentiful delays that we've already had to deal with this year.

Our plan has, and continues to be, to honor all preorders. As always, please feel free to reach out to our fantastic logistics team at if you'd like a refund.

Lastly, with Jumpstart 2022 releasing today it is with great sadness that, after 12 months of aggressive product releases, we have to admit that the 2022 release cycle has finally broken us. We could not afford to stock J22 in time for release day, and will be unlikely to do so until Jan 2023.

This will probably come across as more dire than it sounds; we're still incredibly optimistic for the future of Calico Keep and our favourite hobby, we've just hit a slight roadbump in our journey as a fledgling business :)

If you'd like to grab some sweet Christmas deals, we humbly ask that you check out our Christmas Sale, which is viewable on the front page of our site.

To all our customers old and new, we're thankful for your patronage and support every day, and for continuing to allow us to work in an industry that we love and support the communities that have supported us in both our professional and personal lives.

Stay safe,

Team Calico
