Winter always brings with it a hurricane of TCG releases. We've just had four consecutive fortnights of Lorcana releases along with Modern Horizons 3 in Magic: the Gathering. Bloomburrow releases next week, followed by Pokémon's Shrouded Fable and Lorcana's Shimmering Skies shortly thereafter.
For now, we find ourselves in the eye of the storm and have used the breathing room to add Pokémon and Lorcana singles into our inventory. We've also set up our buylist pricing for both of these games. Take a look at what we've got, Khajiit has wares if you have coin (or cardboard).
Buylists
As a lot of you already know, we buy used trading cards! Our goal when it comes to providing singles is to put cards in the hands of players first and foremost, so we're primarily buying in cards for their playability, and only in versions that accurately and clearly represent their function where possible (e.g. english-language, non-errata). What that means is different for every game. We're generally looking for:
Magic: the Gathering cards from Eighth Edition onwards (i.e. Modern-era), as well as select Commander and Legacy playables from older sets;
Pokémon cards currently legal in Standard (As of July, cards with Regulation Mark F onwards);
All Lorcana cards (with the exception of the recently errata'd Bucky, Squirrel Squeak Tutor)
Sorcery: Contested Realm cards from Beta onwards
We believe our cash rates are competitive with the secondary market, so if you've had difficulty selling spare cards from all those cheeky boosties you've been opening, then give us a look. We offer a 20% store credit bonus on trade-ins, too!

Pokémon
Some of you may remember that we used to support Pokémon in the past, but had decided to drop it due to ongoing Covid-related supply issues. We picked it back up again this February just before the release of Temporal Forces, and we're looking forward to the Shrouded Fable release in a couple of weeks.
We learned a lot of lessons from our last run with Pokémon, and we're aware that it's both notoriously hard to find the singles you need to build a deck, and it's a pain in the neck dealing with Facebook Marketplace and trade pages sometimes.
We also know that there are a lot more collectors out there than players, so we hope that the ease, speed, and convenience of our buylist process will help put cards from collectors into the hands of players! If you haven't given the game a try, we definitely encourage you to take the leap! The game plays blisteringly fast and definitely belies the docile art on the cards.
As mentioned above, we are currently only looking for cards from Standard-legal sets, which updates on a yearly basis.
Lorcana
With the Ursula's Return release on July 13th, we're finally caught up with the rest of the world in time for Shimmering Skies on August 9th. The game is still young, and at this point we're openly looking to buy in pretty much everything. This may change as the game matures here in New Zealand.
Bucky, Squirrel Squeak Tutor has received an errata that comes into effect with Shimmering Skies, and we're lucky to have dodged the oppressive Emerald/Steel Bucky meta that has plagued the tournament scene overseas. Because the text on this card no longer accurately represent the official rules for it (the errata was quite extensive!), we won't be buying any copies of Bucky.
